Video Journalist
1Des Media (IG: @1Des.Media, Twitter: @1DesMedia) is the world's first and only content aggregator as well as original media production company catered strictly to the global South Asian Diaspora Youth and its Culture. Our goal is to showcase the creativity and achievements of Desis around the world in their respective fields as well as highlighting social/political issues that affect the Youth demographic of the South Asian Diaspora.
1Des Media aims to produce Daily Uploads (2-3 minute news flashes covering anything and everything that the Desi youth would care about) as well as Premium Content (Monthly videos that go deeper into any aspect of the culture from music, fashion, business/tech, politics, food, etc)
We are looking for a host to work with our production team of Producers, DPs, and Writers to be a Video Journalist/Host for a daily news flash that will be uploaded to all digital platforms (YouTube, Facebook Video, Instagram Video, etc.) This will require 3 to 5 days a week commitment, for about an hour of shooting, at our production office/green screen stage in Fullerton, CA. Applicants must be knowledgable about both Youth Culture and South Asian Diaspora Culture.
