General Statement of Duties

Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Marketing Intern will perform marketing tasks to support Youth Employment Service’s goal of assisting Orange County youth ages 16-24 with pre-employment skills training, job development, and job referrals.

Responsibilities and Duties 

Assist the YES team and YES marketing committee with campaigns in the areas of:

·         Social Media

·         Website

·         Volunteer recruitment & other promotional videos

·         Research for outreach efforts

·         Proof-reading & writing

·         Flyer creation

·         Additional program needs

Requirements

·         Working towards a college degree (A.A., B.A., or B.S.)

·         3-month commitment with a minimum of 100 hours

·         Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively handle multiple tasks and take initiative to work effectively with the team

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Accuracy, attention to detail, strong follow-through skills

·         Office skills, computer knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)

·         Content creation experience is a plus

·         Graphic design experience is a plus
