Interactive Media Design Intern

Position Summary: 

This pivotal role involves working as part of the Marketing team to create and deliver visual marketing content. This includes photography for all brands, graphics, and online assets, as well as video creation through both filming and editing.

  • Creation and planning of interactive content across social media platforms and websites
  • Creation and implementation of the Filming Overview in line with the overall Marcomms strategy
  • Creation of videos in line with the Filming Overview (filming and editing)
  • Filming / video creation exclusive to social media platforms
  • Lead photography of products / projects for use online and in print
  • Creation of graphics for use on websites, print or social media
  • Implementation and development of online campaigns
  • Supports links between websites & social media platforms
  • Makes recommendations for potential improvements to current and future online and print marketing campaigns, as well as equipment and general improvements
  • Cover and maintenance of the Ellison websites when required
  • Additional duties to support the business objectives as and when required
  • Researching new opportunities and developments within photography and videography
  • Monitor digital trends with a focus on online and social content
  • Reports on video performance to inform strategy development


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Art (Graphic and/or Web Design emphasis) and / or a minimum 1-2 years in Web/Print experience, preferably in a marketing, advertising, film, or video production environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Dreamweaver, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Movie editing and experience on Final Cut Pro or other editing software
  • Ability to analyze and identify digital trends and make recommendations
  • Requires demonstrated creativity and documented immersion in social media
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation skills and be able to work individually or in a team or project environment
  • Intermediate to advance proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint a must
  • Must be able to work in a multi-tasking, deadline driven, and fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to quickly analyze situations and develop clear and logical solutions
  • Must possess excellent communications, organizational, goal setting, analytical, planning and problem-solving skills
