SMALL BUSINESS MANAGER
You are a natural sales leader. A positive, upbeat, passionate, and an ambitious person that is determined to thrive in an ever-changing environment. Victra is the largest Verizon premium retailer in the United States. As a Small Business Manager, you will sell a full range of telecommunications products and services to small and medium-sized businesses. You will work closely with our network of retail locations to increase sales within a defined retail region.

Your Focus (Responsibilities):
You will drive business sales within and outside retail locations. Along with aiming to meet and exceed sales quotas monthly, you have a high level of energy that will create sales momentum. You will need to be able to multitask and demonstrate extraordinary customer service, selling, and analytical skills. As a Small Business manager, you will also:
  • Close B2B sales that are inside and outside of a retail location
  • Acquire and maintain new customers from lead generation at store level
  • Conduct all aspects of the sales process, including setting appointments, generating proposals, and closing sales leads.
  • Assist in training, including role-playing, with retail locations on B2B functions and expectations
  • Attend calls and meetings within the field that will help to generate opportunities for business sales
  • Work closely with the leadership to review forecasts, track sales expectations, and attend sales appointments for assessment of your sales skills and integrity.
  • Connect quickly and effectively with customers to develop rapport in all sales and service interactions.
  • Be available via phone to assist stores with questions related to business opportunities
  • Stay informed on all current processes, promotions, and incentives
  • Have the innate ability to be self-motivated, positive, and work with your teammates while displaying strong listening skills
  • Work collaboratively with Verizon's business team to support initiatives and training
Success for the a Small Business Manager is measured by business sales (B2B sales) within a defined territory.

YOUR EXPERIENCE (Background and Skills):
Your effectiveness to take care of external business contacts while conveying a positive, service-oriented attitude is a requirement for this position. We are also looking for the Small Business Manager to bring the following:
  • Strong background in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Extraordinary attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain complete confidentiality and discretion in business dealings while exercising sound business discernment
  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize, multi-task, and adjust to frequent change
  • Prior track record of achievement in sales positions, demonstrating significant accountability
  • Two years of outside sales experience in a business-to-business sales environment preferred
  • Four-year college degree from an accredited institution preferred
  • Wireless retail experience is a plus

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
  • Up to 50%
You will receive a monthly travel stipend, company credit card, computer, and mobile phone. Due to the travel requirement, you will need to successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record check and have a clean driving record.
