NFL & Fantasy Football Sports Writing Internship (Fall-Winter 2020)
This is a position for students interesting in gaining sports writing experience with a sports data and content website - lineups.com. Lineups.com receives over 2 million pageviews each month. We are growing our brand quickly and looking for writers with a passion for NFL and fantasy football. We are looking for students that have experience writing.
If you are interested in betting on football, there are many opportunities to write on those topics as well. This is an opportunity to have your work read by potentially thousands of people and build your name and experience in the space.
This is an opportunity to gain some valuable experience with a respected site and build your writer skillset. You will learn:
- Researching Topics - learn what what topics people are searching
- Wordpress - how to create and format articles, add links, images, etc.
- HTML Formatting - basic html for headings, links, tables in Wordpress
- Writing Feedback - become a better writer with feedback
Internship Length & Hours:
- 15-20 hours per week, which should translate into 2,500 words per day.
- 3 month commitment - we will work with you on the months that best fit your schedule.
Internship Details:
- Applicants who receive school credit or have some accountability with school are preferred. It's usually easy to setup and holds you accountable.
- $50/month
- Remote
- Must be available via Slack Chat for communication
