Creative Development Intern (Film & TV)

Producer is founding his own production company after close to 20 years in the entertainment business working at established talent agencies, production companies, and movie studios. He's worked on a number of projects, including serving as an Executive Producer on Stephen King's IT, collaborating with filmmakers such as Cary Fukunaga (JAMES BOND: NO TIME TO DIE), Fede Alvarez (DON'T BREATHE), Ryan Coogler (BLACK PANTHER), and Yann Demange ("Lovecraft Country"). This position will provide interns with an opportunity to observe a producer building a production company brick-by-brick, from picking a company logo, overseeing the design of a website, establishing a company brand, to building a slate of film and TV projects. 

This internship position provides an opportunity to:

• Read source material (articles, manuscripts, graphic novels, etc.) to help identify potential projects for film and TV adaptation;

• Review foreign and independent films for remake consideration;

• Conduct research for existing film and TV projects; and

• Evaluate screenplays and teleplays.

The intern will be asked to discuss the material and the projects from both a creative and strategic perspective with the producers and log their comments in a database.
