As an Assistant Resource Specialist II in the Resource Planning Team, you will assist with all aspects of water resource planning activities. Under the directions of senior and project lead staff, you will assist in collecting, maintaining, and analyzing water resource data. Duties include researching water planning related studies, sources of data, analytical methods, modeling approaches and other related functions. You may assist with maintaining and operating water demand and water resource forecasting models, analyzing output and producing analytical reports, and preparing presentation materials for water resource planning efforts.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and two years of relevant experience; or two years in a MWD Assistant Resource Specialist I classification.

Relevant Experience is defined as: work experience assisting with statistical analyses or modeling.
 

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
License(s): Valid California Class C Driver’s License or equivalent (required at time of application) that allows you to drive during your employment.
