Human Resources Analyst

MaxLinear is seeking an ambitious professional with strong capability working with data, systems and people. This role will have a great deal of variety and is within the global recruiting team that focuses on talent acquisition, employee performance, compensation (annual bonus, merit increases, and stock grant processes), special projects, and acquisitions. We are open to candidates who may have direct experience or transferrable skills and a strong ability to learn. In this role, you will:
  • Support the annual financial processes for bonus, merit increases and stock (RSU) grants, partnering with global teams, exec staff, finance and accounting from initial budgeting through allocation and final distribution to employees
  • Support the annual performance review process including system updates, user training, managing access, resolving user issues, and escalations to the programmer or IT
  • Maintain iCIMS applicant tracking system (ATS) for the U.S. and Canada requisitions and work with global HR to ensure consistency in postings and alignment to approved hiring plans
  • Drive enhancements to and use of iCIMS applicant tracking system
  • Partner with marketing communications to strengthen social media presence to drive recruiting efforts in the U.S. and globally through targeted campaigns and regular updates
  • Strengthen and manage campus recruiting program for the U.S. and Canada, partnering with hiring teams and campus representatives
  • Support global campus recruiting plans with local HR
  • Update / develop and conduct live and recorded trainings on interviewing skills, use of our applicant tracking system, and the performance review process and systems
  • Partner with external compensation consultant on salary data to support employee compensation initiates, including annual merit and RSU grant processes
  • Manage internal and external online compliance training sites globally
  • Support the quarterly processes around sales incentive plan payouts and quarterly bonuses and online confirmation forms
  • Support full-cycle recruiting for the U.S. and Canada, collaborating with hiring managers to fill open positions
  • Partner with hiring managers to update job descriptions for accuracy and current needs and modify for recruiting / marketing of positions
  • Work with managers to develop recruiting benches for future hiring needs
  • Conduct effective HR phone screens and interviews and source candidates
  • Special projects
  • Support potential acquisitions
  • Flexibility to work early mornings or late evenings as needed to engage with global teams
Experience in all of these areas is not required as we are open to candidates who have a strong foundation and the ability to grow quickly in the role.
  • Strong capability with MS Excel required
  • Experience working with large data files required
  • Strong ability to engage well with people from diverse backgrounds with a drive to support our internal customers but also with the ability to set expectations and limits
  • Combination of being detailed to ensure accuracy of work, while being able to work with a sense of urgency to deliver results on time, remaining flexible to address urgent needs
  • Creative approach to social media campaigns on various platforms (LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Facebook, etc.)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage with employees at all levels
  • Recruiting experience (agency or internal) from sourcing to interviewing to closing candidates preferred
  • Good ability to interview and get a strong understanding of candidates to determine fit to the company preferred
  • Experience developing and delivering training live or recorded preferred
  • Experience working on short and long-term projects
  • Experience with employee compensation preferred
  • Experience with acquisitions would be a plus

  • Discrete and committed to maintaining a high personal standard of ethics and integrity
  • Bachelor's degree + 5 years of progressive, relevant experience
