Account Manager

Account Manager Responsibilities:
 
  • Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with customers
  • Communicating with clients to understand their needs and explain product value
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery, through strong project management principles, of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Building relationships with clients based on trust and respect
  • Collaborating with internal departments to facilitate client need fulfillment
  • Enhance department and organization's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
  • Responsible for working with the Sales team to onboard and integrate new clients and developing existing client relationships
  • Collecting and analyzing data to learn more about customer needs and decision-making processes
  • Keeping accurate records in HubSpot about contact, companies, transactions, contracts
  • Maintaining updated knowledge of company solutions
  • Resolving complaints and preventing additional issues by improving processes
  • Identifying industry trends
  • Acting as a client advocate with a focus on improving the buyer experience
 
 
Account Manager Requirements:
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, communications, or related field
  • Proven account management or other relevant experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in similar roles
  • More education or experience may be preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collect, track, and analyze large amounts of data
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent active listening skills
  • Ability to prioritize among competing tasks
  • Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability, and maturity
  • Understanding of customer behaviors and industry trends
  • Extensive, accurate product knowledge
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Expert at Microsoft Office Suite, Google Apps, and HubSpot
