Job Title: Podcast Producer
Job Description:
We are looking to add a Podcast Producer to our team who will be instrumental in the sourcing, developing, producing, post producing and delivering of scripted and documentary podcast projects. The right candidate is a podcast fan and avid listener both in non-fiction and fiction. We are looking for someone who has experience in developing longform narrative content and/or experience in production/post-production with an emphasis on sound post. Qualified candidates should have knowledge of and/or relationships with talent and/or potential production partners.
Reports to:
Chief Marketing Officer / Head of Digital Content
Responsibilities: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Sourcing Projects
- Packaging Projects
- Overseeing development including working with writers and providing creative feedback
- Working with networks, financiers and sponsors
- Project Budgeting
- Project Scheduling
- Sourcing and working with cast and crew
- Overseeing post production through delivery
Basic Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of development and/or production experience
- High interest in or knowledge of the podcast space
Desired Skills:
- Presentation writing
- Microsoft office including Powerpoint and Excel
- Movie Magic Budgeting a plus but not required
