HR Coordinator/Analyst

Summary of Job Descriptions:
The HR Compliance Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the company’s I-9 and E-Verify compliance program. This position reviews electronic I-9 forms and E-Verify cases daily for compliance with government rules and regulations and contacts associates to verify authorization to work in the US. The I-9 Compliance Coordinator assists with educating managers and associates on the importance of timely and accurate completion of I-9 forms and E-Verify cases. This position collaborates with the Learning & Development department to assist them in developing compliance training materials for Operations and Support Center associates and providing training.
 
You’ll get a chance to:
  • Coordinate the company’s I-9 and E-Verify compliance program. 
  • Review electronic I-9 forms and E-Verify cases daily for compliance with government rules and regulations and contacts associates to verify authorization to work in the US. 
  • Assist with educating managers and associates on the importance of timely and accurate completion of I-9 forms and E-Verify cases. 
  • Participate in regional HR training meetings and other training projects. 
  • Provide internal and external customer service related to I-9/E-Verify compliance.
  • Collaborate with the Learning & Development department to assist them in developing compliance training materials for Operations and Support Center associates and providing training.
  • Coordinate with associates on their providing acceptable types of work authorization documents.
  • Help educate associates and managers on the importance of timely and accurate completion of I-9 forms and E-Verify cases.
  • Coordinate audit procedures and follow-up on outstanding compliance tasks to support compliance program initiatives.
  • Review I-9 and E-Verify documentation and helps identify areas for correction.
  • Monitor for legal compliance updates and brings to the attention of HR management. 
  • Assist in the creation of presentations, spreadsheets, and reports related to I-9/E-Verify compliance as required.

Your background & experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field required
  • One to two years of administrative work experience; HR experience preferred
  • If hired, successful completion of annual store training 
  • If hired, must provide proof of full vaccination on your start date, unless prohibited by federal, state, or local law. Full vaccination means two weeks or more have passed after receiving the second dose in a two-dose series, or more than two weeks after receiving a single-dose vaccine. Examples of proof of full vaccination include an original, photocopied, or digital completed vaccination card which includes your name, type of vaccine provided, and date last dose administered.
