Physical Therapist
Invo Healthcare is seeking a talented Physical Therapist to join our school-based services team in various areas. Invo is the nation’s leading provider of behavior, mental health and therapy services in schools, centers and communities.
To qualify, applicants must:
· Hold a master’s degree or doctorate from an accredited university
· Have active state-level licensure as a Physical Therapist
· Have experience working in schools or with children is a plus but not required
What to expect from this role?
· Evaluating and treating students, helping them negotiate the school environment, improve school performance, and engage with their peers
· Serving as member of the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) team for students with physical therapy concerns
· Working and building strong relationships with parents, teachers, and school administrators
· Facilitating goals and objectives per child’s educational plan
· Assisting children with mobility
· Assisting in developing plans to improve gross and sensory motor development
· Conduct family training sessions when necessary
· Performing other PT duties/responsibilities required by the Program and within the scope of licensure and/or certification
· Ensuring all services are performed in accordance with state laws and regulations
