Senior Administrative Assistant

What you will be doing:
  • Interact with clients and vendors as well as do billable work
  • Perform document intake and organization in a paperless environment
  • Perform general bookkeeping work, which may include entering and maintaining records, invoices, and supporting documents, and creating financial spreadsheets in Excel
  • Assist with maintaining client financial records within accounting software
  • Assist team members with meetings and events as necessary
  • Actively participate in problem solving with colleagues and clients
  • Develop colleague and client relationships
  • Respond to and resolves administrative inquiries and questions
  • Perform other related duties and projects as assigned

What skills & experience you need to succeed in this role:
  • Minimum 1– 3 years of bookkeeping experience, preferred
  • Familiarity using SAGE 100, QuickBooks, or other bookkeeping software a plus
  • Experience with financial statements, payroll, payroll tax returns, Forms 1099, A/R and A/P is preferred
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills
  • Must possess a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Must be very organized
  • Must have excellent English communication skills
  • Must have excellent client service skills, team work and a professional demeanor
  • Must have the ability to manage multiple projects with deadlines
