Child Development Specialist (Full Time)

The Bradley Center is a trauma-focused residential treatment facility where children and adolescents with emotional, intellectual, and behavioral difficulties receive 24 hour care and treatment. Our residents present with a wide range of challenges and often have a history of trauma.
The Bradley Center is seeking motivated, compassionate candidates who have a calling and passion for helping children. We are looking for individuals with initiative, creativity and a desire to have a positive impact on a child’s life. Experience in the mental health field is not required, just the desire to help children overcome their challenges.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology or other related field preferred
  • OR a minimum of 48 college credits
  • OR a paraprofessional certificate with some relevant experience required
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Valid driver's license and car insurance

  • Patience and creativity while working with residents at their own pace
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional demeanor, sound judgment, dependability, and a strong work ethic
