UNDERWRITING DEPARTMENT

Intern Responsibilities

Borrower Due Diligence – Two Weeks

Assist with KYCs

Analyze borrower experience and overall track record

Ex. Corporate record search, asset search, adverse filing search, people map etc.

Property Due Diligence - Two Weeks

Assist with property values

Analyze recently sold properties in the surrounding areas to value a property

Loan Due Diligence - Two Weeks

Assist with pledge packages

Organize and collect items required by credit lines

Ex. Recorded Deed of Trust, Original Note, appraisal, assignments etc.

Assist with loan underwriting

Organize items received/analyze items received for any issues

Entry Level Skills

Basic MS Excel experience

Access and SQL experience a plus
