Editorial intern

Job description:

RenewEveryDay.com is looking for an editorial intern to join the team and help us serve those transitioning from treatment, new to recovery or in long-term recovery. This is a paid internship.

Key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring RenewEveryDay.com is updated regularly with relevant and engaging information and resources

• Editing and proofreading contributors’ web copy for content, AP style, grammar and punctuation

• Writing headlines for web and social media

• Using social media to promote stories, give news updates and interact with the Renew audience

• Planning and producing a weekly newsletter

• Researching and running Google Analytics reports

Qualifications:

• Recent college graduate or enrollment in college with a major or emphasis in media or marketing

• Outstanding communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills

• Strong foundation of knowledge and experience across social networks

• Excellent writing skills, especially for social media

• Ability to work independently
