What I wish was different
I loved every second of it.

Arts Education Intern
June - August 2018 • Costa Mesa, CA
What I liked
My favorite part of this internship was the hands on experience and trust that I was able to gain. Throughout the 7 weeks I worked there I was fully immersed in the summer programs I helped to run, I was in classrooms with kids, I was working on spreadsheets, I was face to face with artistic professionals every day. This was the first internship I felt like I was absolutely necessary every single day. I felt like a valuable team player and I was cared for as such as well. Overall, this internship was my favorite job experience so far in my career. I would highly recommend anyone interested in Arts Education to apply. You could not work with better people!
What I wish was different
I honestly just wish the internship had been slightly longer. 7 weeks flew by so quickly and I felt like I became more and more confident every day, so I feel that I just wanted to be there another week or two more. However, I really valued every second I spent there and I understand the rationale behind the 7 week internship.
Advice
Don't be afraid to ask questions! It's the biggest part of your job at an internship! Don't forget that you're there to learn too.
